About Octavio Jones,
Documentary Photographer
I'm an award-winning photographer and visual storyteller with a passion for documenting people, communities, and the moments that shape our lives. As a former staff photojournalist at the Tampa Bay Times, I spent years telling stories through compelling imagery, covering everything from breaking news and social issues to portraits and long-form documentary projects. My work spans editorial, commercial, and nonprofit photography, and I bring a journalistic eye, authenticity, and attention to detail to every assignment. Whether I'm creating portraits, documenting community issues, or producing visual content for clients, my goal is always the same: to create meaningful images that connect people and tell stories with impact.
